Andy's Grove at Byrne Preserve (next to Westwind Community Barn), Los Altos:
With the support of Grassroots Ecology, the Fenselau family and dear friends planted three California Buckeyes and three elderberry trees in a circle - a living gathering place created to honor Andy and his commitment to environmental stewardship. They are baby trees now, but as the seasons pass, they will grow and their branches will weave into a shaded green grove where family and friends can feel connected to Andy for years to come. (A bench is planned!) Andy loved hiking, so of course it'sa short hike to his grove... bring your hiking shoes!
